Jeff Kell is a UX/UI Designer with an emphasis and passion for visual design. Through his concierge-style creative agency, Digital Piece of Mind, he's worked with many app development studios, startups, and creative individuals. His businesses have done breakthrough work in digital learning, assisting senior citizens with demystifying new technology, facilitating tech purchases, setting them up, and training his clients with ongoing education. In 2015, he surpassed $1,000,000 in technology products sold through his business. Now, he's focused on creating multi-generational user experiences. His imagination has been captured by Facebook's mission of connecting the world and what the interface might look like for someone who has never used the Internet.
His eclectic set of interests have led him to develop expertise in design, launch strategies and execution for consumer internet and mobile app companies, as well as to seek out and interview political leaders and Fortune 500 CEO's.
He led the Thirst Labs engineering team to create a comprehensive news app for Glass in 72 hours, making it one of the first 10 apps on the platform and obtaining coverage from Mashable to VentureBeat.
Previously, Kell marketed the first-ever iPhone game, growing it to #1 in China and #7 in the U.S. in the Kid's Games category.
Inspired by a meeting with Steve Wozniak in early 2010, Kell initiated his 105 Conversations interview series around the topics of technology, innovation, leadership, and education. This ambitious project aims to raise social consciousness through interviews with major thought leaders such as George Shultz, John Mackey, Howard Behar, Blake Irving, Alexis Ohanian, Pete Cashmore, and others to present a compelling video blueprint for future generations.
In 2014, he was fortunate enough to meet Tim Cook, CEO at Apple, Elon Musk, CEO at Tesla, and Arianna Huffington of the Huffington Post.
He believes in empowering people with technology that works when they need it and making it vanish when they don’t, so they can focus on living a more balanced life that’s focused on the stuff that matters.
